Most of what I encounter of TikTok is videos laundered through Instagram reels. It’s been fun to easily spot those who lived through the birth, life, and “death” of AOL AIM, MySpace, or Vine, and those for whom TikTok’s looming ban is the first time they’ve experienced platform collapse.
