Somehow was able to get classic video game soundtracks into the 5-year-olds music rotation (its a delicate inception, but worth the respite from the usual playlists) and every time Dire Dire Docks comes on I think of the Northernlion commentary.

When you’ve been forced (for better or worse) to live through “interesting times:”
One of the kiddos is going to through a major Peppa Pig phase so right now when they ask me for something and I fulfill the request they respond “thank you my good man” in their best attempt at a British accent. ❤️❤️😂
While making valentines for her Sunday school teacher and friends my daughter exclaimed she’s a fan of The Postal Service (we were listening to the record)—and I think my millennial heart grew 3 sizes.

Our 3-year old has recently gotten into VeggieTales (directing her attention to the pre-bankruptcy era of Big Idea productions) and the other day she drew Bob the Tomatoe and Larry the Cucumber.
